What manual tracking gives you

Manual entry lets you keep a focused record of selected holdings without providing a wallet address, exchange account or API key to the tracker. The portfolio can include balances from different places because you enter the quantities yourself; the app does not discover or verify those balances.

A practical record-keeping routine

For example, check a BTC quantity in a source you trust, enter that amount and any purchase cost details you want to compare, then review the estimated value at a reference price. After a buy, sale, reward or transfer, check your source records and update the portfolio yourself.

The trade-off is maintenance

A manual record does not sync balances automatically and cannot detect an unrecorded transaction. Compare it regularly with your own statements or wallet interface. If automatic aggregation is more important to you than avoiding connections, a connected tracker may fit better.

Privacy claims, stated precisely

Portfolio holdings, quantities, cost basis and transactions entered in the app are stored locally and are not sent to our backend. The app still makes limited market-data requests, described in the Privacy Policy; “local-first” does not mean the app has no network requests at all.

Keep your portfolio record in your hands.
