Holdings, quantities, cost basis and transactions are not sent to our backend. Limited market and FX requests can include public asset identifiers, selected currency or market query details; they do not include your portfolio holdings or quantities.
The website uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate site usage. The app’s data handling and the website’s analytics are described separately in the Privacy Policy.

Does the app connect to exchanges?
No. Private Crypto Tracker does not connect to exchange accounts and does not require exchange API keys.
Does it connect to wallets?
No. Holdings are entered manually; you never need to provide a wallet address, seed phrase or private key to track a quantity.
Where is portfolio data stored?
Portfolio information entered into the iOS app is stored locally on your device and is not sent to our backend.
How are holdings entered?
You enter and maintain the holdings and cost details yourself. Manual tracking means balances will not sync automatically.
Does the app have iPhone widgets?
Yes. The app offers widgets for portfolio and selected cryptocurrency information. Widget data is limited and shared locally by the app.
How does the website calculate profit or loss?
Its calculators compare entered quantities, purchase costs and reference prices. They do not provide live execution prices, tax calculations or financial advice.
