A clear record for BTC holdings
If Bitcoin is held in a cold wallet, an exchange or more than one place, check the balance in a source you control and enter the quantity yourself. The app displays the number you record; it does not read the blockchain or verify that a wallet still holds that amount.
Keep purchase price and known fees with your own record if you want to compare estimated value with cost. An app estimate is not a wallet balance check, trade quote or tax result.
Useful for cold-wallet tracking
You can record a cold-wallet BTC amount without providing a public address, private key or recovery phrase to the tracker. The app monitors only the quantity you enter; it does not monitor or control the wallet. Never enter a recovery phrase or private key into portfolio-tracking software.
Choose a reference currency
Use the Bitcoin value calculator to multiply a BTC quantity by a price in GBP, USD or EUR. The website tool uses your entered price; the iPhone app can show market information through its supported data source.
