Add the widget from the Home Screen
Apple’s widget gallery is where you choose app widgets and any available view or size. The exact labels and available options can vary by iOS version.
- Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen until the apps begin to jiggle.
- Tap Edit, then Add Widget. On some iOS versions, the Add Widget control may appear as a plus button.
- Search for Private Crypto Tracker and select it. Review the widget views and sizes shown on your iPhone.
- Choose an available view or size, tap Add Widget, then tap Done.
What this app’s widgets show
Private Crypto Tracker offers views for portfolio information and selected cryptocurrency information. The exact details depend on the view selected in the widget gallery. Open the app to review the fuller portfolio context, including the holdings and performance information you entered.
Use the widget as a snapshot
iOS schedules widget refreshes, so a displayed value may not match the latest market reference. A widget is a quick overview, not a continuously refreshed quote, execution price or place to trade. Open the app when you want to review the full portfolio view.
Widget data and privacy
The app shares limited, sanitized widget data locally. Widgets do not directly access the full portfolio database and do not make direct requests to the market-data backend. The widgets do not require connecting a wallet or exchange account. Read the Privacy Policy for the separate details about app data and website analytics.
Common questions
Why does the widget show an older value?
iOS decides when a widget refreshes. Open the app to view its current market information; neither the app nor widget promises a continuously refreshed execution quote.
